Re: Placement on the JET Program
Dear Cindy-Ann:
We are pleased to inform you of your long-awaited placement in the JET Program:
Prefecture: Osaka
Contracting Organization: Osaka-shi
At this point, all we know is your prefecture (and in some cases, city). In the unfortunate event that your placement does not meet with your satisfaction, your only alternative is to withdraw from the Program. Withdrawal at this stage without a justifiable reason will result in your disqualification from the Program, with no opportunity to reapply in the future. If you do withdraw at this stage – regardless of reason – please send us a written resignation letter (or email) so that we may determine your eligibility for future years of the Program. It is also imperative that you contact our office immediately so that appropriate steps can be taken to find a replacement.
